C&W Western Electric Floppy Drives

They were made so that any of the new sound reproducers like Western Electric systems for the “Talkies” could use theaters insisting on C&W projectors
such as the Jazz Singer and others sound on disc and films. The floppy drives are made by C&W and installed in their machines

The large oiler is held in place with a screw tapped into the main body of the bearing shaft, a washer and leather oil keeper, the Fixing Nut often has a very thin spring washer
